At a Glance

May 14: Israel continues their ground invasion in Rafah. Over 360,000 of the approximate 1.6 million people in Rafah have fled the city.

Nowhere in Gaza is safe. People are displaced to place after place.

47.3 percent of the population in Gaza is under 18.

The Rafah Border Crossing is a final shred of hope for Palestinians. During the ongoing conflict, the crossing has been closed and opened periodically, making it nearly impossible for Palestinians to flee. The border crossing is ran by Hala Consulting and Tourism, which charges $5,000 dollars per adult and $2,500 per child to pass through the border.

Since May 7th, the Palestinian-side of the border was seized by the IDF and is now closed. Aid has not been able to pass through the border and people cannot evacuate. Your donation could help with the steep prices of basic supplies and give families passage should the border open again.

Here are the latest casualty figures as of May 14 at 1:20 pm in Gaza (10:20 GMT):

Gaza

  • Killed: at least 35,173 people, including more than:

    • More than 14,500 children killed

  • Injured: more than 79,061 people

  • Missing: more than 10,000

The latest figures from the Palestinian Ministry of Health in the occupied West Bank are as follows:
